Business Admin - Apprenticeship for Business Administrator

An Apprenticeship consists of a standard made up of the following components:


  • Level 2 Business Administration 
The responsibilites of the Business administrator apprentice are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal and external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of the administrator contributes to the efficiency of the organisation.
  • Functional Skills – English*
  • Functional Skills – Maths*
  • Functional Skills – ICT* – This gives you the skills you need at work e.g. Microsoft Office

*Some apprentices may have achieved these requirements through prior learning and therefore will not be required to take this part of the apprenticeship.

Some training will be delivered at our centre White Rose House which is on Ware High Street but we will also train and assess you in your place of work. We are your local, specialist, friendly and approachable training provider. 

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum age 16 years.
  • Must not have a qualification of Level 4 or above.
  • Must be in employment and have a contract of employment for the duration of the apprenticeship
  • Must be earning at least £3.50 per hour (apprentice rate) if aged under 19 or over 19 and in the first year of your apprenticeship.
  • Must have the right to work in England and spend 50% or more of your working hours in England.

How to apply

You can apply for an apprenticeship programme at any time but we are planning a July 2018 start date.

Some employers may be required to contribute up to £500 pa towards training and assessment costs but most will be exempt from co-financing
