OCR Level 5 NVQ Diploma Management

Like all NVQ (NQF)s this qualification is competence based. This means that it is linked to the candidate's ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work. Candidates plan a programme of development and assessment with their assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove that they are competent and knowledgeable in their work role.


The four mandatory units are as follows:

B1 Develop and evaluate operational plans for own area of responsibility (Credit Value: 6)

B6 Provide leadership and direction for own area of responsibility (Credit Value: 5)

C5 Plan change in own area of responsibility (Credit Value: 6)

D2b Work productively with colleagues and stakeholders (Credit Value: 6)

 

And optional units to a credit value of 15 (of which at least 3 credits must be at Level  5, the following units will be covered in your programme:

D3b Examine staff turnover issues in own area of responsibility

D17 Developing collaborative relationship with other organisations

(Credit Value: 7)(Level 5)

A3 Develop, maintain and review personal networks

(Credit Value: 4)(Level 4)

D3a Recruit staff in own area of responsibility

(Credit Value: 4)(Level 5)

D6 Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility

(Credit Value: 5)(Level 4)

D9 Build, support and mange a team

(Credit Value:  4)(Level 4)

F1 Plan and manage a project

 (Credit Value: 8)(Level 4)

F11 Manage the achievement of customer satisfaction

(Credit Value: 5)(Level 4)
