Ware Employers: Your Community Needs Your Help!

How would you like to help the community and have a keen young worker for FREE for three months?!
Sound good? Read on…

Your local quality training provider White Rose Training is delighted to announce a new opportunity for local young people. We are now able to offer traineeships, these are preparation for employment courses for:
16, 17 or 18 years old who are not in employment, school or college
• Trainees will attend three days a week 10am – 4.30pm for up to 12 weeks and this will include a programme designed for them at our centre in Ware and a work experience placement with an employer like you.
• They will get high quality training and support including careers advice, certificates to help them find work or an apprenticeship and continued support from a career coach throughout the work experience.
• And a chance to brush up on Maths & English to help career progression.

What do you get?

• To enhance the life and future of a young person, by providing valuable work experience and getting them one step closer to the getting on the career ladder.
• A free worker- Traineeship students have made a conscious decision to join the programme as an alternative to staying in school, they are ready to learn and work hard.
• To know you have helped to improve the youth unemployment statistics (743,000 young people aged 16-24 were unemployed in November to January 2015 in the UK). Doing a traineeship with us and a work placement with you will dramatically increase their chances of getting a job or apprenticeship.

What do you have to do?

1. Get in contact with us so we can begin the process of registering you as a work placement.
2. Get ready for a keen-to-learn worker to work with you part time (the amount of time this lasts varies dependent on the individuals’ traineeship choices but will be around three months).
3. At the end of the placement an interview and feedback if you have a job or Apprenticeship vacancy, or some feedback to us or the young person if there isn’t one.

We will be supporting the trainee during their work placement with you. Just let us know if there are problems and we will sort it out. These young people have chosen to get off their settee, turn off the TV and do something to improve their chance of a career. The cost to you is investing in a young person’s future and if you can supply lunch or their travel expenses that would be great!
